The Homeowners Association was started in 1970 as a method for residents to express interest in their community. We do this by providing an organization where residents can become acquainted with each other in a friendly and informal manner. In addition, we provide a forum for residents to express their views and concerns and serve as a source of information on community policies and activities. It is our belief that by promoting the interaction of its residents, The Homeowners Association will contribute to the overall health and well being of the community. The Homeowners Association meets four times a year on the second Monday of the meeting month at the City Auditorium at 7:30 PM. To extend our continuing involvement with the community, The Homeowners sponsor other activities that promote community involvement such as our popular Valentine’s Day Dinner Dance and the Candidates Forum in March cosponsored by the Womens League of Voters, as well as active involvement in other community activities like the Fall Festival and the Beauty on the Beach. You don’t have to be a homeowner to join the Association, any Indian Rocks Beach resident is eligible.
