This event put the "Happy" in "Happy Hour." Thanks to our wonderful hosts at Century 21 Beggins and to the Red Lion for their donation of two kegs of beer, we were able to collect an unbelievable amount of toys to make many needy children smile. Jacque Enderle & Bob Mecca delivered the toys to Grace House and to the Homeless Emergency Project (HEP). Both organizations were so very appreciative for our donation. And, as usual, doing good things didn't keep up us from having good time....

The Homeowners on wheels took to the streets of IRB as part of the Annual Indian Rocks Beach Holiday Street Parade on December 4th. It certainly didn't rain on our parade...the weather was gorgeous.

Great weather. Great people. Great food. Great city. You gotta love it when a staff of great volunteers and great sponsors/vendors produce an event this terrific. Thanks to all who contributed to this year's tremendous success. When you see Randy Schwab with the City of IRB, give him a big hug for his assistance that went well above and beyond the scope to make sure we all had a great time!

Jimmy Guana's outdid themselves with the food for the October Happy Hour! A much needed break in the action for all in attendance!

So many bars and restaurants, so little time! But, close to 400 (record number!) Poker Runners managed to work them all in within the allotted time period and donate almost $2,000 in profit to Morton Plant's Pinellas Mammogram Voucher Program for uninsured and underinsured women.

The September Happy Hour was a warm-up for the Poker Run on October 1st. The staff at Marlin Darlin took great care of us and kept the food coming and the drinks filled.

On Friday, August 12th, the IRB Homeowners Association took to the lanes at Twedt's in Largo. Everything from gutterballs to strikes and spares...a couple of bouncers and one ball that even went backwards...and YOU know who YOU are!

The August Happy Hour was COOL oasis from the heat! The food was outstanding in keeping with the Salt Rock's reputation for wonderful cuisine.. The staff couldn't have been more attentive and all neighbors in attendance had a great time. We had some first-timers like Beth...who put her name on our e-mail list and plans to be a regular at our monthly soirees.

The Homeowners take a much-needed break at On the Rocks to quench their thirsts and commiserate with one another about the summer heat. The Poker Run Committee seized the opportunity to unveil this year's Poker Run T-shirt, modeled below by Happy Hour Chairwoman Karen Mortimer.

It's tough to decide what was best about our May Happy Hour at Coasters: the food or the wonderful hospitality shown by owner Heather and her staff! We were thrilled with all the new faces in the crowd. And, of course, we love the old faces, too!

Our Biggest Beach Party Ever on Saturday, April 30th from 6-11 p.m., lived up to its name this year. Record crowd...5,000+...wonderful weather...great sponsors, vendors and the hardest-working cast of volunteers in Indian Rocks Beach. We're not sure how we can top this next year...but you know we will!

On Saturday, April 23rd, the IRB Homeowners Association, in conjunction with the City of Indian Rocks Beach Parks & Recreation, hopped on down the bunny trail at the Annual Easter Egg Hunt. The Nature Preserve came alive at 10 a.m. with games, arts, crafts, a clown and...of course...the guest of honor...The Easter Bunny. From the looks of the photos, the adults had just as much fun as the kids!

On April 2nd, it was off to the races as the IRB Homeowners Association held our annual 1 Mile/5K race along the beach. The race, sponsored again this year by Guppy's on the Beach, went off at 8 a.m. without a hitch, thanks to the sponsors, City Staff and volunteers who helped with this event. From the pre-planning, to the behind-the-scenes activities to the coordination on race day, this was a testament to the spirit and dedication of our group. And, it was our largest group of runners EVER!

The IRB Homeowners Association once again purchased a "square" in the Chalk Walk as part of IRB's Beauty & the Beach celebration, following the Guppy's Gulfside Gallop on April 2nd.. Artist Mikey Vasquez did us proud with his creative design incorporating all the things that make IRB great--sun, sand, surf and spirit!!
